SoftWash 707 Service Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 2026

These Service Terms & Conditions apply to exterior cleaning and related services provided by Gradin Management, Inc., DBA SoftWash 707 (“SoftWash 707,” “we,” “us,” or “Service Provider”) to the customer (“Client”).

Acceptance of an estimate and authorization to perform work constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

1. Estimates & Scope of Work

Estimates are based on the information available at the time of quoting, including measurements, photographs, property conditions, customer-provided information, and/or an on-site evaluation.

Final pricing may vary if actual site conditions, measurements, accessibility, surface condition, level of buildup, or requested work differ materially from the information used to prepare the estimate.

Only services specifically included in the accepted estimate are included in the agreed scope of work. Additional work requested by the Client may result in additional charges.

2. Property Access & Water

The Client authorizes SoftWash 707 to access the areas of the property reasonably necessary to perform the scheduled services.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • The Client must provide access to a working exterior water source with adequate pressure.

  • The Client must notify SoftWash 707 before service if the property uses well water, has low water pressure, or has known water-supply limitations.

  • If SoftWash 707 arrives for scheduled service and an agreed-upon working water source or required property access is unavailable, additional trip or rescheduling charges may apply.

3. Customer Preparation

Before service, the Client should:

  • Ensure all windows and doors are completely closed.

  • Provide clear access to the areas being cleaned.

  • Remove or secure fragile decorations, furniture, electronics, and other personal items from the work area.

  • Keep children and pets safely away from active work areas.

  • Turn off or protect exterior electrical equipment when instructed.

  • Inform SoftWash 707 of known leaks, damaged siding, loose fixtures, deteriorated roofing, faulty windows or doors, electrical concerns, or other existing property conditions that could affect the work.

SoftWash 707 is not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed defects, improper installation, deterioration, or pre-existing property conditions.

4. Cleaning Methods & Property Protection

Different surfaces require different cleaning methods. SoftWash 707 may use soft washing, pressure washing, surface cleaning, purified-water cleaning, manual cleaning, or other appropriate professional methods depending on the surface and condition.

Cleaning solutions may include sodium hypochlorite and other professional exterior-cleaning products.

We take reasonable precautions to protect landscaping and surrounding property, including appropriate dilution, application, pre-wetting, rinsing, and other protective procedures when appropriate.

Because plants and landscaping vary in condition and sensitivity, the Client should inform SoftWash 707 of particularly sensitive, newly planted, unhealthy, or valuable vegetation before service.

5. Existing Conditions & Cleaning Results

Exterior cleaning can reveal pre-existing conditions that were previously concealed by dirt, moss, algae, oxidation, or other buildup.

These conditions may include:

  • Faded or oxidized surfaces

  • Loose or deteriorated paint

  • Damaged siding or roofing

  • Failed seals or caulking

  • Cracks or deterioration

  • Rust

  • Oil staining

  • Mineral staining

  • Organic staining

  • Previously damaged surfaces

Some stains, discoloration, oxidation, rust, oil, mineral deposits, artillery fungus, and other conditions may not be completely removable through standard cleaning.

SoftWash 707 does not guarantee complete removal of every stain or permanent discoloration.

6. House & Building Washing

House and building washing may reveal oxidation, fading, staining, paint defects, deteriorated caulking, or other existing conditions once dirt and organic buildup are removed.

Oxidized surfaces may require specialized cleaning or restoration beyond a standard house wash.

Standard house or building washing does not include exterior window detailing unless specifically included in the accepted estimate.

Weep holes in vinyl siding and other drainage areas may release residual dirt or water after cleaning.

7. Roof Cleaning & Moss Removal

Roof cleaning methods are selected based on roofing material, condition, accessibility, slope, and type of organic growth.

SoftWash 707 may use low-pressure cleaning solutions, manual moss removal, treatment, or a combination of methods.

Following treatment:

  • Moss, algae, lichen, or other organic growth may change color as it dies.

  • Some treated organic material may take several weeks to naturally weather away.

  • Heavy moss removal may reveal pre-existing staining, deterioration, granule loss, or other roof conditions.

  • Results and treatment timelines vary depending on the roof and severity of growth.

SoftWash 707 does not guarantee that moss, algae, or lichen will never return. Humboldt County's climate can promote future organic growth, and periodic maintenance may be recommended.

8. Concrete & Hard-Surface Cleaning

Concrete and other hard surfaces naturally vary in age, composition, porosity, previous treatment, and condition.

Cleaning may reveal or make existing stains, cracks, discoloration, repairs, aggregate variations, or other conditions more visible.

Oil, rust, mineral deposits, paint, and other deeply embedded stains may require specialized treatment and may not be completely removable.

9. Windows, Solar Panels & Skylights

When these services are included in the accepted estimate, SoftWash 707 will use cleaning methods appropriate for the surface.

The Client should disclose known cracked glass, failed seals, loose frames, damaged glazing, electrical concerns, or other existing defects before service.

Pre-existing mineral staining, hard-water deposits, scratches, failed insulated-glass seals, oxidation, or permanent glass damage may remain visible after cleaning.

10. Weather & Rescheduling

Exterior cleaning is weather dependent.

SoftWash 707 may postpone or reschedule work when rain, wind, extreme temperatures, unsafe roof conditions, wildfire conditions, or other circumstances make it unsafe or impractical to perform the work properly.

Weather-related rescheduling will not be considered a cancellation by either party.

11. Customer Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling a confirmed appointment.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled service may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

12. Payment

Residential payment is due upon completion of the scheduled services unless otherwise stated in writing.

Commercial payment terms will be stated on the applicable estimate or invoice.

Accepted payment methods and any applicable processing terms or fees will be disclosed with the estimate or invoice.

Past-due accounts may be subject to collection efforts and other remedies permitted by law.

13. Photos & Videos

SoftWash 707 may photograph or record areas of the property before, during, and after service for purposes including:

  • Documenting property conditions

  • Documenting completed work

  • Training and quality control

  • Business marketing and advertising

Clients who do not want photographs or videos of their property used for marketing purposes may notify SoftWash 707 in writing before service.

We will not intentionally publish private customer information in marketing materials.

14. Damage or Service Concerns

SoftWash 707 takes reasonable precautions to protect customer property and document existing conditions.

If the Client believes damage occurred as a result of our services or has a concern about completed work, please notify SoftWash 707 as soon as reasonably possible so we can inspect and address the issue.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable California law.

15. Insurance

SoftWash 707 maintains commercial general liability insurance. Proof of current coverage is available upon request.

16. Acceptance

By accepting an estimate and authorizing SoftWash 707 to perform the services, the Client acknowledges that they:

  • Have reviewed the scope and pricing of the estimate.

  • Authorize SoftWash 707 to perform the accepted services.

  • Have reviewed and accepted these Service Terms & Conditions.

  • Understand that cleaning results depend on existing surface and property conditions.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable California law.
